The Center for Language Research (CLAR) at the University of Rijeka, Croatia will be holding a conference from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2016. The official theme of CLAR2016 is “Perspectives on Language Planning and Policies.”
Paper proposals on any topic related to the domain of language planning and policies are invited by the 10th of January 2016 deadline. Anonymous abstracts may be submitted in either English or Croatian. Interested researchers are asked to upload their abstracts.
Among the many topics invited are the standardization of terminology; normative language manuals (e.g. monolingual, multilingual, general, or specialized dictionaries); and the (re-)standardization of the orthography, orthoepy, or grammar of the lexicon.
